There is two ways to quit smoking from my personal experience but remember if someone try to quit smoking and smoke against chance are they will smoke more.
First way to quit smoking is use a nicotine patch or nicotine gum and yes that will help. Do remember to read the doses for the patch, sometimes you don't even need to use the full nicotine patch. This way will help but sometimes after you stop using the patch you might still crave smoking. (The nicotine patch might be expensive but cheaper then the cost of cigarret and the cost of your health together)
The second ways is harder and it need a good committement. But if it success you have higher chance of not smoke against. Everytime when someone that smoke want to smoke it is because either their body craving for nicotine or it become a habit. So to lower down the habit or the craving your brother must delay the time between smoking. For instant tell him when he want a smoke watch the clock go do something and try not smoke that smoke for an hour. Eventually then body will need less nicotine and smoke. Also if your brother have free time tell him when he want a smoke try not smoke and just go to sleep. If that two ways combine eventually he will feel good that he not smoking and his body will feel great and then he can quit smoking for good.

I have asked my husband about how he quit smoking coz he is also addicted with it before and he told me that such type of thing should come to him and he has will power to quit smoking . After he got sick and hospitalized he got the will power to quit


The nicotine chewing gum worked for me. It was surprisingly easy to quit and once the 1st week was out of the way i have never looked back.

When people smoke, more than half of what they breathe is fresh air - pulled through the cigarette right down into the lungs. So if you feel any cravings you can instantly overcome them by taking three deeper breaths. Imagine breathing from that space just below your belly button. Whenever you do this you put more oxygen into your bloodstream. This means you can use deep breaths to change the way you feel instantly and give you power over the way you feel and help you let go of those old cravings and thus making it easier to stop smoking.

I can suggest a good remedy for quitting. Thats will power and self confidence. Other than that there are a lot of alternatives like electronic ciggs, eco-friendly ones, nicotines gums and many more. You can try any of these.
To quit smoking you need to want to and it takes a couple of tries.
its really hard to quit ive quit like 4 times but stress always brings you back Dam you Marlbro

I think you need to show him some videos or pictures with cigarette smoking victims.
Though it may sound silly and negative, it works well. Fear of losing valuable things in life will give immense strength to face and overcome the problems. Think about the side effects of the cigarettes and have fear of losing your health, family, happiness and life. When you start fearing about all the loss you will face due to smoking, you tend to hate smoking and gradually avert from that. Even if you are offered to smoke, you tend to withdraw from that place. Keep trying, ultimately you’ll end up quit smoking and lead a better life.
Try nicotine flavored chewing gums to quit smoking. It is proving to be a successful alternative for cigarettes. It is a boon to all those who wants to quit smoking.

Sure, the best way to quit is not to start smoking at all. But there are a lot of ways to be free of it. I've heard that even needle therapy helps to be healthy. But it's very effective to eat some candies instead of cigarettes or may be electronic cigarette?!![]()
