vBulletin 3.6.8-What to use for ads?

Ok, this is two questions.

1.) What type of ad system works best? I dont want to use google adsense but just display ads that are bought from me and the like.

2.) How do I add ads to the header, board, etc? (Like the way it is here?)

Since your site is new, you could just use vb 3.7, the beta/rc whatever, shouldn't effect you much.... anyway, it has ad management built in.

it does? cool. Anyways, the sites not that new, it just moved to a domain. Gonna go totter over and poke around in the backend

vB Ad Management is the best by far.

Perhaps "new" was the wrong word, I meant small, so if something goes wrong, it won't be horrible to repair. Just have a good backup.
