Question vBulletin - how to delete scheduled tasks?

I know how to disable a scheduled task. I am not asking that.

I have some scheduled tasks left over from removed plugins, I disabled them in the admincp but want to delete them as I no longer need them, it's pretty dumb you can't delete them, aside from going into the database and manually removing a scheduled task, how in vBulletin do you DELETE a scheduled task, is this not possible?

    [MENTAL]WTF?![/MENTAL]

Am I missing something? It's a simple request, why isn't it built-in? This is retardo!

I haven't a clue, I'm toying around over in my vB 3.7 install and nothing is working. I even tried deleting the file from /includes/cron and refreshing the task list, the task is still listed.

Perhaps this is a bug to report to vB?. I mean we should be able to completely remove them.

I found this: Missing option to delete scheduled tasks - vBulletin Community Forum - Project Tools (no help)

Even the vB Docs don't mention deletion: vBulletin Manual

It's reported a year ago and they don't fix it and the guy replies:

"You're not allowed to delete default tasks."

Well hell, it's not a default task I wanna delete, that's crazy!

Technically, the plugin should remove the task when it's uninstalled, but it didn't and I didn't know and I didn't know it had other files uploaded, so now for a week members were being emailed this and I didn't know til one finally let me know to speak clearly, lol!

So unbeknownst to me I've had this stupid email going out and can't even fully remove the task, just disable it. Dumb!
