Ho to create RSS feed for my forum?

Hi all,

I want to get a RSS feed for my forum just like this WTF has. The current RSS feed is not working fine IMO. It is not showing the latest post, however the WTF Rss feed always shows the latest post.

Can anyone please help me with this?

I want to make a RSS feed for my forum and will use it on other forums

Not sure which part you mean. Are you referring to the "Latest Blog" feed in the profiles?

Yes, exactly.

I created a free feed from a site rapidfeeds.com but since I don't know much about it the feed I created is not 100% correct.. I put the given code here on the "Latest Blog Feeds" but it is showing only "smsbucket forums"

I want it to work like, whenever a thread is created/replied on my forum it should update here on latest blog feed. I hope it is clear now.

Any idea how can I get that?

I used the carp latest blog plugin from vbulletin.org, do a search there for it and it should come up.

but my forum is using phpbb. And they don't have created RSS feed for phpbb forums yet

Anybody else know about creating Rss feed?

Sorry. Perhaps try asking at phpbb's support forum, they're pretty good there with helping people out.

Creating an RSS fees is relatively easy if you know a bit of PHP code. All you have to do is grab the data from your database and format it in XML. I've done it for my song lyrics site and a few other sites where I have user contributed data. It's about 60 lines fo code.
