How do I place adsens on top of my forum

I am using a SMF forum on my site and I have some questions regarding:

1. How can I place a google adsence on top and below my forum pages?

2. Where and how to add and change the colour and mod. of my forum?

3. How do i create my own banner and place on my SMF 1.1.6 Forum?

I await member guidiance on the above issues.

i'm sure you can find smf mods.
phpbb has this Advertising Management mod which enables webmaster
to place ads virtually anywhere.

It is likely that you will need to edit the header.php file and the footer.php file and add the Google adsense code to these templates.

In SMF, I use the ad management mod for this, it's awesome!

Can you tell me what version you downloaded? I'm running version 1.1.6 and it is telling me that it is not compatible.
