Default A MyBB theme question.. for myBB users

    Hello guys !

Yes I know, it would be best to post this question in myBB forums.

    But here goes..

Question: Why is it that an uploaded and activated theme in myBB not working for a forum with this format : forum_name.website_name.com but its working in website_name.com/forum_name ?

The uploaded theme images are not loading for forum_name.website_name.com but everything else is okay.. Just the images/buttons/icons etc.

Any workaround for this ? Anyone ?

    Thanks.

NooBoo. Make sure the style vars are set correctly. Admin CP > Templates & Style > Click on style name > Scroll down to Image Directory and have a look.

Additionally makes sure actual files permissions are set correctly.

Thanks Big Dan.. thats where the problem is.

you see, I have uploaded the whole theme zip file in the /images folder of my myBB forum directory AND extracted it directly on the webhost server.

Further investigation of the actual directory where I unzipped the uploaded theme points to this wrong structure : /images/ThemeName/images/ThemeName/Needed_Files_and_Folders

LOL... thats why it cannot find the images/icons/etc ... Hohohohoho !

it should be located in /images/ThemeName/Needed_Files_and_Folders.. well, I just moved those files up and everything is all well and smooth.

    Thanks Big Dan. A Lot.

    SOLVED.
