Default Delete Thread vBulletin (No Pass Confirmation)

Does anyone know how I can set it in vBulletin so that threads can be deleted without having to confirm your password each time? Much appreciated if anyone know the answer to this.

Well this forum is integrated with phpfox so when you enter the password here it redirects you through phpfox and then back to the forum homepage and not the thread you want to delete. Making it impossible to delete threads, so I'm having to manually edit them rather than delete them. (I'm kinda hoping the lovely Colleen knows the answer to this )

AFAIK there is no way to bypass that. It's a 'security feature' implemented starting in the 3.7 series. You may want to go back to the 3.6 series if you have no need for the extra 3.7 features.

Okay, I'm gonna have a look at the actual source code and see if I can find it and manually edit it out. That should be possible?

It should be however you may have problems with the security check that vB added in 3.7 it was the cause of a lot of headaches in old templates I believe it was simply called 'security code'. Basically most actions on the board required the session id aka security code to be carried in the url if it wasn't the user would get an error.

I'm sorry I don't have more information, I'm foggy on the whole thing. Good luck either way.

Yeah bad idea, Dan's probably right, you do that and then you fully remove the ability to delete altogether.

Damn vB. It's a silly feature. I don't see the point in it. If your already logged in why have to confirm your pass again. This has made integration with phpfox impossible really, in that you cant delete a thread once you have integrated
