    Default No Sign Ups

I understand that people don't want to sign up to a new forum especially one which has no PR, but I was not expecting this little progress. Do you guys have any suggestions if you want to see forum check sig (internet marketing forum). All tips are welcome:dozey:

Sorry to be brutal, but, why would anyone want to join your forum when there are 10 zillion others on the same topic? What makes yours different to all the others? There are only a few topics in each forum - you need substantially more.

BTW: Here is a list of the forums that you are competing with:
Web Design and Promotion Forums (I started to count them but gave up!)

BTW: I did check a few of your threads, and noted the one that you had submitted your forum to DMOZ - your forum would have been rejected really quickly by an editor as insufficient unique content - you need 1000's of member and topics and high activity before DMOZ even considers a forum for a listing. (and the advice you gave in the other DMOZ thread is really bad about resubmitting - that will only hurt chances!)

If I was you I would go back to the 'drawing board' and come up with something different; something unique; something that people want to be a part of and not just another clone of the zillion others.

Wow! That was just too brutal and honest.
There are lots of forums out there, starting a new one won't be a very good idea my friend. I would support and contribute to already successful ones and build my reputation there instead.

If you don't have a unique topic, or a unique way to present an old topic, then I would stick with being a member of well-established forums. This way you get to build your reputation and there are already a lot of people there to get to know and network with. You already have 109 posts here. Why don't you build on that?

0 PR has nothing to do with why members are not signing up.

I am having the same problem as yourself. We started a forum recently and it has been really slow.

We have started to promote it mote trough social media and now it starting to get some sign ups. Sorry no advice to give you at this point yet.
