started a new forum and need to know about Moderators

With starting a new forum. How would I get Moderators to work with me?
Would I pay them? also where do I find them from?

Have a good forum with quality discussions. Some interested people will want to be moderators if they like the place and believe in it. I think the important thing is having members and good topics first.

Most forums dont pay mods. Its really tough to get mods who would really put lot of time. Probably best is having somebody from your member group.

First you need to gain your members then pick the right moderators in your forums. But of course you need to select them based on their qualities.

I suggest you to put your advertisement in any webmaster forum market Place. There will be lot of people interesting in being a moderator.

No need of paying to moderators... Give good content to users.. get good number of users.. make an announcement in your forum about your requiremnt for moderators.. if your forum is really good and active, members will contact you for the same..
