looks nice!!

Most of it looks good.
Not sure I like the idea of having to reauthenticate each and every time I want to perform a mod function.

Yeah, I'm really liking the built in photo galleries, social networking features and my favorite new admin tool is the spam ban.. Ban spammers, their IP, and delete the thread all in one action.![]()

Are you sure that's not mySpace 3.7!
It sure would be nice if they had more useful stuff like Report PM SPAM and automatically sending out a 'We miss you!' E-mail when a visitor goes inactive for 30 days.
er, could some one give me two Casino Cash bucks!!

Wow, that is one incredible release. I can hardly wait to use it.![]()
█ Directory Script -easy to create and profitable too Demo
█ Template Forums - find templates for phpLD
█ phpLD Site of the Month Winners - see some great directories
█ phpLD Hosting - our top hosting pick for phpLD users
I just hope it isn't too bloated with all that extra gear.
Looks awesome, but my 3.6 forum is so heavily modded, I not sure if I can be bothered with the upgrade effort involved.

Holy moly, miss 3 days online, miss a lot! Public messaging looks so cool. Users can communicate publicly via their profile pages, awesome.
Kalina added 5 Minutes and 59 Seconds later...
I'll also be able to get rid of our Zoints tagging system since tagging will now be built in... wonder if it comes with a corner for bad boys.![]()

Definately looks like it has some nice features although the previous version does work well. I wonder what if any implications it will have on vB unique designed templates... have to wait and see...

Wow, there's even a built-in gallery system! C's gonna have fun with this update!![]()
I love the new profiles & public messaging.
I'll probably upgrade one of my forums the first day they release it to the public.
Maybe this will give me a chance to put all these forum domains I've been registering, to use.
Edit, Does transverse provide upgrades to their templates?
WOW THE NEW LOOK IS FIRE cant wait to use this
Anybody want to guess the release date.
You think we'll get it before Christmas?
I've been wanting tags for a while. The photo gallery I'm told is very "myspace" and won't replace vBPicGallery. [self serving plug]
But in reality, I'm hoping the social networking part catches on. People seem to like that stuff.
Free vBulletin hacks and vBulletin Support.
Talk to bikers around the world about motorcycles.
Clogging an american dance step.
I saw it on vbulletin.org and loved it.
I guess it is going to be a very difficult job updating my current vb templates when upgrading to 3.7.

It's taking so long, I've been anticipating it!![]()

I don't think we'll see it before the new year. They're still on beta 1.. Normally there's a beta 2 & 3 then an RC 1 and possibly even 2.
I'm guessing around February.
Yeah vB3 took a while to come around before it went gold![]()
Just because of this update, I'm going to get it instead of PhpBB3 to use on my large projectI love the new profile feature!

I'm looking forward to my next forum project...it's gonna be nice with this![]()
Can't Touch This
I shall call him squishy, and he shall be mine, and he shall be my squishy!...in my pants

Nothing but thumbs up all round from me. 3.7 is fantastic even in its Beta stages! I think it just goes to show that vBulletin are happy to move with the times of networking to a greater extent!

now they just need to add SEO in and i'll be really happy...i hate having to pay to get vbseo...lol...that is something that should be standard with any script in this day and age...dynamic urls shouldn't even be an option anymore...

Is anyone using vB 3.7 yet? I am thinking of upgrading my forumm when it goes out of beta testing stages.

I got one install running here: vBulletin Admin Forums - Powered by vBulletin you can register and play around with it you'd like. I'll even bump anyone of the long time members here to admin so they can play around with it.
I'll most likely delete this install once it's released.. It's really just a test bed for me.
I almost joined, thinking it was a new community for vBulletin 3.7 users. That would have been a bit odd, but I love finding new vBulletin powered forums.
We have the fourth beta running smoothly on AdminAddict. Our forum/site is still under development (and coming along nicely), but I have to say I really like what the vB developers are doing with 3.7. I can't wait to see many popular forums upgrade when they release the stable version.
Profile customization, and user created user groups looks awsome!

Running Beta 4 Now On The Lostralian.. Works well. I think Gold could well be coming very soon![]()

I strongly dislike the member info page.It confuses me, too busy.

Yeah, I agree with the above comments it's too MySpacy.. Do we really need profile comments?? I personally think the whole tab system is ugly, perhaps that's just me though.

I have a feeling that vBulletin is about to update again
vbulletin.com, vbulletin.org
Site down for maintenance?
Nope... It's up again with Beta 4 still....

vB 3.7.0 Beta 5 Released - vBulletin Community Forum - View Single Post - vBulletin 3.7.0 Beta 5 Released
It's shaping up nicely, I like the new feature of profile comments becoming "gmail-esque" with conversation like features to keep things in order.
This is something to look forward to. 3.7 is going to add lots more opportunities for member to member communication, community building, and more friendships formed due to members being able to communicate 1 on 1 outside of private messages.
On the other hand it's more for admins and moderators to moderate. There's a bigger gray area since the members can self moderate their own profile comments. Do we apply the same rules to profile comments as the forum OR do we let members decide what's too much for their profile and only step in if there's harassment ala MySpace? Not sure yet, only time will tell.
BTW: I plan on upgrading as soon as DreamHost fixes their boinked control panel, I already changed the DNS over for vBulletinAdmin and imported the databse but DH's panel isn't letting me add the domain. Something tells me I shouldn't have wasted my money with DH again.
nice to see beta 5 released ,will be using when it run out of bugs.
Looks good! Just need people making skins!
hmmm... what about the security?
