Most web sites out there will have a CMS for sure. It is almost an industry standard to use one now a days. It makes the designing and setting up process so much easier. I think the commercial ones out there are some of the best ones...Xoops, Joomla, etc.

My host's forum also had several tutorials on how to make your own custom CMS which caters to your needs!

The pure open source nature of Joomla will obviously make it more customizable in my opinion as well. It is one of the best products for any web site I think. Everyone should at least try it once to know how much power it has. I used to use it until I learned how to make my own CMS at my host's forum through various tutorials in PHP.

Ye i agree that Joomla is the best content management system , but while creating the ecommerce website Magento is best one and its a best open source cart for ecommerce solution, we are basically from ecommerce web development company , most of our customers are like these Magento shopping cart for ecommerce. because its having good futures and good payment gateway system, thanks.
