Thread: average load time statistics

Hello everyone,

I am the web programmer of a reputed organization.

The statistics of average load time of our website according to Alexa is as follows:

Month Avg. Load time Status

July 2.36 secs 67% of sites are faster
Aug 2.543 secs 73% of sites are faster
Sep 2.316 secs 70% of sites are faster
Oct 2.407secs 72% of sites are faster
Nov 2.63 Seconds 76% of sites are faster


We have shifted our website to the new server with higher configuration in the month of September and using different website tools, we have checked the load time of various pages and found that the pages are getting loaded faster than before. But, according to Alexa report, average load time of our website is getting increased day by day.

Can anyone help me to find the probable reason behind it.
