Thread: Opening of Adsense Account

I have tried thrice to open a Adsense account but it was refused by google I want to know that what is the right process to open an account with google.

Google have a few years ago made it compulsory that your site should be up and running for a few months before you can even apply, and then it must have content that contributes to the user, and not just an excuse to show ads

I'm not sure if that whole "your website must be x amount years old" ; I applied for my adsense account the same day I made my website and I got approved. Could be the content of your website.

Google has standards and you should probably look up what they are before you apply. They are very specific in what they want for their advertisers which make sense. It is an industry and a business so they have to be sure of what they are getting themselves into.

It doesn't rel;ate to your website age. What is the content of your website? Is it violate with Google terms? I think its the reason of refusing your request.

The content should be unique,the website should be running for some period of time, and then applying for Google ad sense account will approve immediately, but some websites with good content,no matters the age of a site will get you ad sense account immediately.

In addition to everything the other guys said your website should be indexed in search engines and should have some traffic.

For a new adsense account you can use google voucher .

I think I heard somewhere that for foreign websites (out of US), there is a requirement of 6 months to be accepted. It may be false though, I just heard it somewhere a few times.

Sorry, to addon, I have a way that always works but requires a little article writing.

So there is this revenue sharing site called InfoBarrel. The thing is that, as InfoBarrel staff says theirselves, it is legal to use their website and your username "infobarrel.com/users/usernamehere" to apply for an Adsense account. Because IB is a revenue sharing website, and only you have access to that specific URL (your profile page), it is not against Adsense's TOS and is perfectly legal.

The only thing about this approach is that you better have written 6 or more above average articles before you try to apply for an Adsense account. When I did it a while ago, I only had 5, but they were great articles. I guess if your articles are superb and 800+ words in length, having only 4 might even do.

I also think so.

before you open an account to google adsense make sure your site does not have break rules in their TOS like spam content.. sevral links or unallowed links, and make sure your site has very informative content that people may know..

I find that first impressions are always a good thing, since it's an actual human that visits your website to check it out to determine if it's worthy of being approved or not.

Some of the reasons why people get their applications rejected include the following:

Bad linking to bad neighborhoods
Spam
Poor quality content
Not enough content
TOS violation


Wait a bit and build your site a little, to make a good first impression for the Google employee that gets your application.

If they refused they sure gave you a motive. If you solve it may be they will approve you!

What is the url of your website? We can check it out and say our opinion if you want!

Well make sure before applying you have a blog or site with a top level domain and have some good contents and you'll be successful to get the application approved.
