The Google “cache” command will help you find the cached copy – the way the Web page looked when Google’s spiders indexed it - of any Web page.
This especially comes in handy if you’re looking for a Web site that is no longer there (for whatever reason), or if the Web site you’re looking for is down due to an unusually high volume of traffic.

Google cache is nothing more than a snapshot or copy of a page stored by Google as a back-up. Google usually takes a snapshot of each page and examines caches or stores this version as a backup. The cached version is what Google uses to determine if a page is a good match to our query. Google's servers are generally much faster than many web servers, we can often access the cached version of a page faster than the page itself.

Google Cache is simply a cached copy or components that transparently stores the data, so that the requested data can be served faster for the future reference. The stored data may be the value or text that might be typed earlier or stored anywhere in server. Google Cache used to judge the cached version to provide a good match to the users. Google servers are comparatively faster than other servers, so the users can access the cached version faster than other webpages.

Google Cache means, when Google comes to any page or website then he pass the value of the site or page then its called Google Cached.

Have been looking that cache hyperlink in searches from a long time, but really did not wonder about it, thanks for sharing

The Google cache allows finding the cached copy showing the way in which web page was looked by the Google’s spiders at the time of indexing. It is helpful whenever any site is down or no longer available. In this situation the user is allowed to view the cached copy so that he/she can view the website.

Sometimes I use Google's cache when I want to see the site, which no longer exists or has been changed.
