Plummeted again bahh

google always look for new images and what people likes. so try to post some new images.

I know why it was

I do get a lot of traffic from images, I don't know how that happens? When I search for my keywords on image search, I can't even see any of my images.

I am getting 50+ visitors to a post on my forum where I have posted some images

I didn't know that post will get good position on google images.

To be honest I dislike traffic from google images. People generally don't look at the content the image is on - just at the image itself.

I get a good few to my portfolio because of one of my images - heaven and hell - ranking fairly well in image search on Bing and google.
The bounce rate of those visitors is >90% (i.e. they just looked at the image itself then left the site).

But sometime people look at the content too and browse few pages of site so we can't just ignore this traffic.

Can't ignore it, but it is for all intensive purposes junk

Google image traffic really works for me, for my particular niche. I could imagine that anyone in the wallpaper niche would benefit from google images. It's all about being creative in the way you monetize traffic. If you just use banner ads then you won't care for GI traffic.

I agree on this. Most of web surfers including me when finding images I just look at the image and not on the content.:energetic:

Yup same here

One could always place a URL in the bottom corner of the images. That way when people find it via GI, they will at least see where it came from and possibly visit the site.

I used to do that, but got too lazy adding my URL to all my images...:surprised: it was more work than it was worth.

If someone is looking for a physical product, especially a hard to find one, google images can deliver some visitors of the buying variety.

Google usually finds them on its own. It's good to use the alt="" element in your img tags so Google has some keywords to index.

If your signed up for google webmaster tools and have your site verified then you can choose to "opt in/out" of it. Other than that there is no control of it.

google image traffic really worked, some time it gets distracted

I am a bit surprised that this is something that you track. I think that I would only be concerned about this if I was an artist or graphic designer.

Google images is a great way to get traffic. People are always searching for images and the image can take a person back to your website.

Yeah I'm also getting a traffic in Google Image but the bounce rate is high.
