Can anybody update me the status of Google caffeine and what unique features added by google in that and how it help for seo promotion. I just eager to hear the updates from you guys...

I don't see what the big improvement is when using this version of Google. It didn't seem to impact the SERP's.

Google announced the rollout of a new search architecture, codenamed "Caffeine". The new architecture was designed to return results faster and to better deal with rapidly updated information from services including Facebook and Twitter. Google developers noted that most users would notice little immediate change, but invited developers to test the new search in its sandbox. One change that was noticeable was the search return time. In numerous tests it returned results in nearly half the time. Other differences noted for their impact upon Search Engine Optimization included heavier keyword weighting and the importance of the domain's age. The move was interpreted in some quarters as a response to Microsoft's recent release of an upgraded version of its own search service, renamed Bing.

As far as I know Google Caffeine is the changes of algorithm of Google. And as what I observed Google frequently indexed links now in websites who has a High PR and do follow forums with PR5 above unlike before.

I did some research on it, there is no eta yet on when it will be live, to me it looks like caffeine is more focussed on new G architecture, and will not have such a huge effect on search rankings in the sort term.

But long term I reckon they will change allot based more on location etc.

As far as I know they haven't launched it yet and nobody knows when it's going to happen. So how can it influence anything i have no idea?

The last I heard from Google's Matt Cutts on the subject was a blog entry back in Novemeber:

"I know that webmasters can get anxious around this time of year, so I wanted to reassure site owners that the full Caffeine roll out will happen after the holidays. Caffeine will go live at one data center so that we can continue to collect data and improve the technology, but I don't expect Caffeine to go live at additional data centers until after the holidays are over."

Sounds interesting, but haven't they already started have you noticed the change twitter tweets etc lately?

Google has recently made it official. They have a new search engine and it should improve indexing vastly.

It is something which will show the most updated results in Google search engines results, 50% new than the earlier ones.

you need to experiment what's the difference between the old Google algo and Google caffein..

the indexing capability of google caffein is more faster than before.

Caffeine is a database management shake up only, nothing to do with the algorithm. Changes in ranking under Caffeine only occur due to changes in how the information is held and accessed BY the algorithm. The algorithm change that occured during the Caffieine update is completely separate -- Matts Cutts words not mine.
