Default Keyword in domain or catchy name ?

I'm trying to figure out a domain name and I was wondering do you think it is better to have a catchy domain name or a domain name that contains your target keyword?

    Hi,

This would depend on you, and the amount of money you have to send on advertising.

Catchy domain name are good only if you can get the name to catch on.

Yes, catchy domain name and the keywords are the most important factors for the websites if domain will be catchy and keywords will be relevant then your website will be easily indexed and ranked in the major search engines.

I'd follow your industry. Bing, Yahoo and Google do much better than Search.com

Another example would be insurance - the big companies with brand names always rank better than keyword domains due to ranking. Keyword domains only help you in the lower/niche leagues for ranking.

It depends on your goal. If you like to build brand then I'd suggest catcy and easy to remember domain. But if you prefer easy SERPs ranking then I'd choose the keyword rich domain
