Thread: PR Update by Google

Is there anyone know when Google is going to update there PR for all Websites ( Mass ).

Hi,

Google does an up date every three-four mo. One should be happening soon. But I have a gut feeling that this one is gonna surprise a few people. The people that are selling links based on PR are not gonna be happy.

The last one was early april if I remember right. So if we assume the expected 3-4 month intervals it should be soon. You really never know though.

Google updates its ranks in 4 months time. Last update was in first week of April. Next update is expected in first week of August.

I was searched on google about this and found according to prediction the PR update will be done on 1st -7th July but its already gone hope it will be done on august.

it will be done for any 90-100 days period.

I hope that the next PR update will occur in august as well, some say mid-july others say early-august.

If it already happened then that means my site's PR remained the same this update, if it has not happened yet then I am hoping to see it go up to atleast a 5 or 6.

have been doing lots of on-page SEO and some backlinks building, also added some new content pages, and optimized certain content pages, also improved some internal links and improved their anchor text, hope this helps in increasing PR.

I noticed that little by little some of my pages are getting higher and higher up in SERP's, but still would love to see that PR go up a bit.

I have read that PR ranking is starting now although I am not seeing any update yet but I guess soon maybe end of this month we can have new PR update

My website is at presently PR5. The PR does not bring up to date much nowadays. From time to time it goes up to 6 and 7, and sometimes it declines to 5. But it is not at all below 5, for me, I believe that the only method to boost PageRank is to get good toward the back links and to make good substance. These are the only two ways to get PR achievement.

Yup it seems that PR ranking doesnt take place the July could it be on the first day of August?

Every one waiting Google PR update from the month of July so we need to wait also, who knows when PR update will start.

Well that sucks and here I am waiting for my PageRank to go up and it's not going to happen.

I felt like a fiend waiting for my next PR fix, lol

Either way thanks for the article Aimhigh, I guess that is a good thing...since I have never bought or sold links, my PR was not affected this update, if it was a penalty update.

I guess in essence that is a good thing as well, even without the PageRank going up, at least it did not go down.

I do hope for a major update this August..I have not seen any update this July so we are expecting to have some update this August

It is not sure when google will update pr but as per me it is done once in quarter. As it is already done in July 1st week expect google to update in October 1st week.

The PageRank is measured based on the some links a site has and the PR of the pages it links to. Raising the backlinks is efficient in improving PR.

i think that it do twice in a year.. websites which do have 1 to 3 pr are updated quickly than higher pr websites..

Don't lose your heart BiologyWebmaster. Google PR update will surely happen but we didn't know exactly when because Google is very unpredictable. Everyone are looking forward for the Google update especially me because I wanted to see the result of my effort although many webmaster no longer believe in the PR concept but it's comforting to see the fruit of my labor.

I consider PR to be a vague general guideline. It gives you some insight, but very little.

download the Google toolbar, you will automatically come to know about the PR of a specific page as well as whenever the Google crawler visits your web page, you will come to know that also.
