Thread: Google not crawling pages?

Hi all...

Google is not crawling two of my inner pages after being submitted the Sitemap.xml file thrice through webmaster tools and also through google submission form....Previously those two pages were working fine and google was crawling also....but now from few days, no progress at all from google.....What must be the possible reason for google not crawling only those two inner pages? What is the solution for that? How I should ensure that google will crawl those pages?

Can you please share links for pages that are not being crawled because there are many factors for this.

It is just the lay of the land, currently my site has 163 pages, google only indexes 160...that is 3 pages not being indexed and I have no idea why.

It has been like this for months, so I got over it, 160 is better than none.

There is no way to make google do anything, if it does not want to index those pages, there is no way to force it.

All I would suggest is are these static pages or are they pages which are constantly updated?

Change a few words around, move some sentences add some formatting, any slight change to the page is considered an update to that page, after every update submit a new fresh sitemap to google everytime. You may see results by doing this, as Google likes to index fresh content pages.

Even if your content does not change at all, adding a period somewhere, moving a comma, creating a new internal link these are all considered content changes, think about it.

You have to put some more efforts of deep link building for your inner pages. you have to do social bookmarking and also have to promote your site through social networking. it will take time and also extra efforts but at the end labor works.

The google has changed the way it was showing the indexed pages before.

there may be some mistakes in the pages or there may be a valid reason for google not crawling the two particular inner pages.. make sure everything is correct from your side. follow google's terms and evrything will go fine.
