Thread: Is Google Buzz Useful?

I have something here, I have read in many places that google buzz is very helpful in SEO. People say that they will help in indexing your website very fast. I've checked the indexed pages in google by {site:google.com/buzz/}
But when you check the pages that are indexed the links in those pages are no-follow, I have found that it is totally useless other than it will drive some traffic to your site. what you guys think??

Google Buzz is a social networking and messaging tool from Google, designed to integrate into the company's web-based email program Gmail.It is also a good marketing technique and can get huge traffic but its not much popular like Twitter and other social sites.

i dont think its useful in creating backlinks to your site but yes its good for traffic ... you can get some good traffic from there.,.

Google buzz is very fun to use for communicating. I don't think it's useful in seo and traffic purpose.

Google buzz is no more effective as yahoo buzz.
If you want to cache your site then it can be useful but no more extra benefits of that in marketing strategy and it is less use in US and UK and more use in Asian countries.

Not had many good results from Buzz, I thunk facebook is more effective . .

yes i think its useful for rating purpose

I've tried it at first and it gives me traffic for a while but afterwards i didn't see any improvement.

not that really LOLs...if they will not improve this, there's a possibility that they'll end this social networking

not much help if you have few contact list. I still prefer other social networking sites than Google Buzz

Google buzz helps to get traffic.But i dont it helps link building for website.You know we can get back links from twitter and facebook.

I don't think so, this is gonna work because Google buzz is something private. I think yahoo buzz will be more useful.

I thinks Its just useful for Gaining Traffic or Rating a Website ....

its not very useful for gaining traffic, unless you have a huge contact list.

i never use google buzz for seo purpose but now i would like to.

If it can drive you traffic, it only means that if can never be useless. The very fact that you said that is drives traffic, it already show us its value.

besides the seo advantages, buzz is pretty cool

its good to get few visit for you website...other than it fully useless..

For us, Google Buzz isn't useful.

When it was launched, there was much brouhaha about privacy and stuff. As the previous commenters said, it can be of use when you have an extensive contact list. But opening your account for the public isn't entirely good for you at all.

But it is nice for me to drive traffic.
