Default Visits and position in SERP

    Hi all.
There is a guess that Google takes into account the number of times people come to a Web site from the SERP for a specific search query. If users click your Web page more often than other Web pages on the same SERP, it can move your page higher than it was before just because of this. Did anybody notice such an effect?

Maybe in Alexa it is true, but not in Google. Alexa ranks website by it's number of traffic but not Google. Google and Alexa have different algorithm.

Maybe that's just a myth or it can be possible too. What ever the truth is, we still must work harder to reach the top of the SERPs. The higher we rank, the more possible clicks we get, and the more we rank higher again.

I also noticed this rule working. But I would make it more general - if there is more traffic on the niche keywords - rankings boost

I think it's algorithm is still the same as it used to be. Still based on content and backlinks.
