Thread: How long does it take for the page rank update?

I don’t like it when I have to wait extensively for a process that is relevant to my business. For my website, I have been waiting for a page rank update for a really long time now and it is quite disheartening to know that still there is no change. In order to update the PR of my website, Google is taking a really long time and I don’t like that one bit. There are many clients who prefer to have a really high page rank website supporting their SEO and this has led to them going away to our competitors who have high PR websites. Any ideas?

Some said it will need about 3 months.. if during 3 months your PR doesn't updated.. then it means you don't have enough backlinks.. correct me if i'm wrong..

Google is the only search engine which provides the Page Rank to the all websites in the World Wide Web. Google generally update its PR twice or thrice in year. The next update will be in the first week of the Jan.

It usually took every 3 months, but Google haven't updated it for last 6 months, and I saw some speculations that it might happen in firs week of December, so hopefully they wont be only speculations.

Pagerank is a myth now.... Google haven't updated so far...

If PR is so important to you, you are just going to have to play the game, as Google does this at will, and no one really knows exactly when it is going to happen. I would not let PR bother me that much, but that is just me.

For updating pagerank Google usually took 2-4 months.

Google used to update it's PR quarterly, but its been quite a while since it's last late so there is no assurance when will be the next update. It was actually supposed to be updated last october-november but there is no update happened

Well generally update comes after 3 or 4 months.
But now its not clear when next update coming.
