Thread: How do I remove a ton of invalid URLs from google search results?

I have about 30 pages of invalid URLs on Google which I need to remove from search results. I have a Webmaster Tools account and I can't figure out how to remove this many URLs. Webmaster Tools just makes me mad, cause it's designed so badly (like every other Google service) and it's so hard to get things I need done. Google Help is big, often outdated and useless, rarely I can find something useful there. Sorry for bitching, guys.

If the URL's no longer exist it should recognize this eventually. If not, you can disallow the Googlebot using your robots.txt file.

I think you don't have to do anything. Search engine will automatically delete those invalid URLs from its index. Just wait.

You'll just have to wait for a few days. Eventually redirect those pages to your homepage (301). If there was nothing special on it, people won't even find them in Google anymore.
