I am adding a new page to an existing site.I have used wordtracker but I am not satisfied with the results as it lacks precision.Any suggestions for keyword tool.

Google has an adwords tracker which is really good and simple to use. If you want to do well on google search results this is probably the best tool.

May be for some people, but i do not really depend on google adword toolbar (think you are referring to Google Keyword tool).

If i am onto Keyword research i use Semrush coz the stats such as CPC and searches is what i really look for and SEMrush offers this. So i do my research on this tool and not only that example if your onto a car niche you can see what your competitors are ranking for using SEMrush and Compete and rank those keywords. This really helps a lot and i personally use and do recommend if you are onto keyword research.
