No follow links priority

Normally the preference is given to do follow links by search engines but what happen to no follow links does no follow links gets considered by search engines?

Search engine will not crawl a link if no follow is used but according traffic, really helpful to generate traffic.

I do believe and that is also true using do follow links is the best way to get the most quality links and best traffic to the site, so one must give the priority to do follow links. On the contrary no follow links do not pass link juice to the PR.

It is only said that Google don't give priority to no follow but they didn't said that it has no value at all for them. Maybe it still has value for SEs but lesser compare to do follow links.

I have noticed in google webmaster tools for backlinks there are occasionally a few that are in my account that are nofollow. Seems like they do count some of them somehow. How exactly who knows. If a site is popular and has a lot of traffic but is nofollow it can still send you traffic. Yahoo and bing seem to count them either way at least in yahoo explorer they show up.
