Thread: Dip in the PR and traffic.

I need an advice on how to increase pr of the website.Its traffic has also seen some dip how can i fix both these problems.

Traffic and pr fluctuates from time to time. It is a perfectly normal occurrence and nothing to worry about. Just keep promoting your site, backlinks to internal pages should pay dividends.

I don't see any reasons to make an effort to increase PR for its was a useless thing to do. But anyway, Submit you site to site with higher PR than your site, it'll help you boost your PR.

Google is more likely to consider the content of a site in giving PR, so update your site's content for PR and traffic.

There’s a few things to do here:

1. Check out your link profile for low quality sites and make sure not to link to them again.
2. Identify high page rank sites related to your niche and find out how to link to them. These might be forums or blogs or almost anything.
3. Get posting.

In time it should cause traffic and page rank to increase again.

Go for link exchange and get quality backlinks from peer blogs and forums. I hope it will help you.

The only reason that Page Rank should be considered at this point would be if you're looking to sell links/ads on your site. From a search engine perspective, Page Rank is no longer considered. It's a nice little pat on the back when you get a PR6 or PR7 site, but beyond that, it's not used for anything any more.
