Thread: What is Google Dance? Is it affect keyword SERP?

Hello my webmaster friends. I want to know about Google dance. What is it? And,in which aspects it affect? I heard that it affects keyword SERP, is it true? If yes, what should I do to make it stable because I am facing this problem for my keywords?

In the old days Google used to update its results periodically. During those updates, the SERPs would fluctuate, stabilise, fluctuate again, stabilise again... and eventually settle down (until the next update). This behaviour of SERPs was tagged as "Google Dance".

Since the introduction of "everflux" (ongoing "live" updates as we see nowadays), it no longer happens...

Thanks for the information on 'everflux'. I read it. But, I have used many techniques to get serp up but I don't know why they are not coming up. Can you tell me the reason behind it?

Google Dance nothing but the term used to describe the period of time in which Google used to rebuild its rankings, and as a result of this rebuilding, rankings of Web sites on Google's SERP may fluctuate in order during a several day period.

Google dance is the time when Google updates the search engine ranking. You may get different ranking for your website when you search for your keywords.

If you have quality content, quality backlinks and a strong social media reputation, there is no reason why your SERP won’t shoot up. Keep working on on-site and off-site optimization consistently, else your competitors will outrank you in no time.

Just get to know Google dance is an old term. Site owner who build a site to target search engine will never success, to improve search ranking. Increase quality content to attract readership is very important. Only real reader will encourage high visit rate and click through rate.

Google Dance happens with the passage of time when you are placing links and your website's ranking are gonna better then Google's ranking fluctuates sometime down the order and sometime up to the order so after a while it stays at one position.
