Thread: I Hate Google

Last June 27, 2011 Google updated the site I'm working on and it went to PR 6. Was so happy by that time and I love Google but after two weeks on Monday July 18 I saw a drastic change. I suddenly hated G because from PR6 the site drops to PR4 and I question why? It seems Google goes crazy.

Does anyone, experience it?

Google was pretty generous and rewarding. I think maybe they messed something up and this latest update was a correction to some of that. Hard telling with Google though. They are always changing something.

Google is the best in the whole world and why do you hate that.

It happens sometimes that they have changed the algorithm and your site is not too good for getting PR and they decrease PR of your site. Before some days, I have noticed that PR of Twitter was 0 but after some days, it was as it before 9. So I think the change will be because of some changes in the algorithm.

Google i love you. but your rule are so hard and strict.

I think Google's ranking is best and Google's collect data with site organic traffic.

I can't believe anyone still gets excited about PageRank.

The best has gone crazy. On the last PR update it gave itself 9 PR and now if you check its 10. It never happens that once the PR is awarded it is modified later on. Who knows whats going on?

I see no reason to hate google as it is very honest and loyal to sites and every one gets what it deserves.

I heard from other forums about this topic, someone answered that having a high bounce rate counts now in Google Panda. Is this true? I guess it's only his opinion! What do you think guys!

The bigger question is what can GOOGLE do right!

because of heavy competition pagerank goes down ,you need to go for proper seo for ti increase pagerank

It would be due to change of Google Algorithms and compere of your competitor sites.

Yes yes even i also felt pr raise from 0 to 3 but as u said it dropped for some of the pages from 3 to 2.

According to you Google is the best because it gives you results very fast compared to others but what is the relevancy of those results. I think its zero.
Bing or Yahoo provides more relevant results than Google now.

It is not so exciting anything! it can happen with any search engine. As far as i know it is reason for Google panda.

Yes, you are right. I agree with you.

Well the drop in the page rank is not a big deal as it does not effect the SERPs still one should be conscious as you must have worked a lot to win this. Google use to update and simply swaps everything, it don't realize the efforts and all that. Still i would suggest the you just review your website for the content and internal linking, inbound and out bound links, these all factors may resulted in the penalty. Especially watch over the content for plagiarism.

Actually page rank depend on your visitors and your valuable contents so it is very easily to say that when your visitors and your contents become low then your page rank become low so that's not a google's problems.

How long did it take you to achieve a page rank of 4 (or six)? How old is your site and how much traffic does it get each day. I have a site that is 3 months old and it has a PR of 0...yep a big goose egg. What did you do to grow your PR? Thanks.

I obtained a PR4 within just under a year of my creating my site, my site is now over 2 1/2 years old and it has remained at PR4 ever since. I have been hoping that it would one day increase to PR6, but that has yet to be the case. With every PR update that happens I continue to see my site remain at PR4.

It is a little frustrating one would think that as their site ages and becomes better that Google would realize all of the updates one has made to their site and increase their PR gradually with time.

I think at you site there must be some problem.Because at my side there is not problem at all. I am getting very good rank for my side.

If you want to make money via the Internet, you have to love Google, no better choice!

That's not a genuine reason to hate Google. You should work hard, optimizing your website rather hating Google.
