Google panda update is the update by Google regarding the content and especially plagiarism and penalized many website just because of duplicate content or if content is not up to the mark. By this way many website lost their current position from Google SERPs.

Google is a newly feature which is use for website checking it has duplicate content or not.

Google panda is a great feature from the team of the Google, it is the feature that check out the duplicate contents in the site and if there is any duplicate content or spamming inside it, the Google panda decreases the page rank of the site.Thus, the site couldn't be displayed in the top results.

The Google Panda Algorithm prevents content farming. This algorithm filters uniqueness and relevancy of the content of the site. If your site contains poor or bad quality content or duplicate content, then there are chances that your site may get penalized by Search Engine. The main purpose of this algorithm is to provide good and quality search result to the users.

Google panda is update from google which mainly target contents related things. Like quality of contents, It is duplicated or not. It mainly target those website which have duplicate and low quality contents. After google panda update website which have low quality contents was ignored or not shown in organic listing. Similarly new updates of google panda is coming time to time and checking content related things of a website...

Google panda update is for remove duplicate and non quality content from sites, if you put quality and unique content in your web page there is no need to afraid from this panda update but if there is duplicate content on your site and your content is not relevant to your website theme or services it is beneficial for you to change it.

If suddenly your keyword rankings down in Google SERP and your traffic automatically down then we can say that your site is victim of panda effect.

Google Panda is a change to the Google's search results ranking algorithm that was first released in February 2011 .The change aimed to lower the rank of "low-quality sites", and return higher-quality sites near the top of the search results.CNET reported a surge in the rankings of news websites and social Networking sites, and a drop in rankings for sites containing large amounts of advertising. This change reportedly affected the rankings of almost 12 percent of all search results. Soon after the Panda rollout, many websites,including Google's webmaster forum, became filled with complaints of scrapers/copyright infringers getting better rankings than sites with original content. At one point, Google publicly asked for data points to help detect scrapers better. Google's Panda has received several updates since the original rollout in February 2011, and the effect went global in April 2011. To help affected publishers, Google published an advisory on its blog, thus giving some direction for self-evaluation of a website's quality.
