Thread: Questions about Photoshop

I have never owned or used photoshop...I'm a bit behind the curve...

I've been using Photo Studio to create my images and banners...It obviously wasn't designed for that...

I've started to notice my images and banners are lacking compared to a great many I see on the internet..I have noclue how to animate images, add cool backgrounds to them, etc...

Are people do these things in Photoshop? If not, what program are they using? I like to make cool banners and animated images too. Thank you.

Photoshop is usually used for those things, but GIMP is a free alternative. However, photoshop can be free if you dont mind doing something illegal

I didn't realise they did a mac version. My OS is too old methinks though. It's still the first edition of OS X on my imac.

A copy of PS came with my epson printer. I did spend over £500 on it though, that was a few years ago. Don't know if they still give away PS with hardware.

i think it comes with some computers but not others. Like my friend bought a laptop and it came with photoshop, illustrator, and a bunch of Macromedia things that you normally have to buy.
