Question RAX to MP3 conversion software

I have Googled different progs and there are a few options (for ex. MelodyCan) but I'd prefer the opinion of anyone from here

Do you have any recommendations for some RAX to MP3 conversion software?

    Thanks

    RAX, what is that?

Also, you want free or commercial software?

    I want a prog:

    1. easy to use, only a few clicks to put files into my iPod
    2. very fast conversion (which will save me lots of time)
    3. good conversion quality

Found several. At this moment the best for me is Melodycan but I`m not a professional so ask advice :2009:

There are a few converters out there that claim to be able to convert .rax into .mp3 and they are all incredibly similar to the MelodyCan you have already found. Two more are...

    AllMusicConverter
    TuneCab

Since they all offer trial versions, why not download and try them out to see which one works best. If you find one you like, it's only $24.99 for a high speed version.

Otherwise you could try an audio recorder that records the sound as it is played. An example is All2Wav and it is free. There are many out there though, so you may want to look around. Not the most efficient of solutions but it'll get your tunes on your iPod.

Also these .rax files can apparently be used to make audio CDs. Another alternative then is to burn audio CDs (use a CD-RW) from the .rax files and then rip the CDs to get your MP3s. A tedious process, but it's an option.

    Hope this helps

I have compared different converters and I recommend MelodyCan.
It converts music and movies, and also can remove drm protection. The converter is easy to install and use.
