Thread: [REVIEW] My FIRST try on designing e-cover.

I wrote an ebook recently and was taking a few days learning how to create ebook cover. I went to search for action script for photoshop and just put all my effort into creating one.

So, here is the results.

I'm still working on to learn on how to come up with better design. Not much of an artist I'd might say.

I like it, but the colors on the word "proxies" makes it hard to read. Especially the "s". I do like the idea of colors though perhaps find some colors that are easier to read on black.

But like I said, other than that I think it's good. I cold easily see it on any number of sites.

haha..the colors on "proxies" was just me playing around.
I thought I could make it "stand out" a bit by making it colorful.
maybe I suck at choosing colors.

I like what you did with the word "proxies". It does stand out. If you're worried it's going to be difficult to see you could try giving it a background color behind that one word and making the word black or something else....

I tried to make it glow but it looks weird. :P
Well, I'll try to be more creative on my next ecover.

Btw, where can I find stock photo to be used on ecover? Without paying of course. :P

to help make the rainbow colors more readable you should try adding a thin white outline around them. Should help make them stand out against the black background.

Everything else is perfect.

Looks a lot like a real book cover. Simple with good use of space.

Or possibly make the rainbow in pastels so it's light like the white and stands out but still a bit different from the white.
