Thread: logo feedback.

my new little project is starting design-wise.

I like it, has a nice web 2.0 look/feel. Have you tried the slogan all in green?

I haven't yet, but I'm unsatisfied with it.
So, I'll try it.


But guarenteed, it'll change.

In my opinion it is lacking a little "Snap!" maybe a drop shadow, or a glow might make it stand out a bit more?

That's why I added that orb glow thing behind it,

It's a nice start. A few things:
- I'm not sure what the plus symbol and arrow have to do with tuts. When I see the plus symbol, I think medical. Sorry.
- I'd like to see some differentiation in the 'css' and 'tuts'. Maybe that's where you can bring in some blues or greens.
- Someone mention before, and I agree, I'd like to see the slogan/tagline in one color. I'd also try it with small caps or something so it creates some differentiation from the main logo.

The logo there is for a 'positive learning experience' or so I'll claim. My girlfriend gave me the same shit, I have two pages of sketches of + logotypes.

The css is now skinnier, and the tuts is bolder. I've also spiced them up with a hint of gradient. (though, I haven't updated the thread).

And I'll try the slogan again, before I release it.

While it looks good and everything matches, I know there's a way to make the rounded corners smoother.

I really like the basic logo! Looks really cool and Web 2.0'ish
