Thread: Basketball logo

New logo. Comments would be appreciated!

Are we giving feedback on the logo or the banner? They're 2 different things.

In terms of the logo, my thoughts:
- The logo is hard to read. I'd look at making it pop from the banner. Simply making it white would help.
- It has more of a techie and architectural feel than sports. When you look at sports logos, they are bold and dominant, sometimes in your face. This is not.

In terms of the banner:
- I like the chemistry formulaic pattern you've used, but I'm not sure how that relates to basketball. I'm guessing team chemistry, but it's quickly contradicted by the single player in the banner.
- The basketball goal, net and ball graphic doesn't really go. I'd work on making it fit the style of the banner better and maybe moving it to the right so it's not the first thing people look at. You want them to know where they are. Right now, all I can gather is that it's some type of basketball site.

Nice start, but it needs work.

I think your logo is really professional looking...it could be a different color to stand out from the banner. The basketball goal with the ball going through the net stands out quite nicely as well
