Thread: Video Help Please

Hi,

Ok, I am trying to add a this video to my site I have tried both these two but the second I hit save it just disappears. I paste in the html side of the wordpress editor. What am I doing worng??

Kinda need a steep by steep on this.

Hmmmn! show me the post/page with the second code!

I've tried your code in just a html page - it works fine - so it isn't the code.
perhaps it's your broswer blocking the ActiveX component or your server...

Can we see the page you're trying to play it on?

Yes I am trying to put on my blog. The post now is about half way down.

All I can say is I go to the wordpress editor click on the tab for html not visual paste the code in hit save and when I do the code just disappears.

I don't think it is the browser because I can see it at utube

It's wordpress WYSIWYG editor, it parses html all on its own.

I humbly and sincerely apologize for screaming earlier this is Just driving me nuts.

I put a Step By step of what I am doing maybe this will help someone.

First this is what I get when I click the link to dawgs site. Please check if URL is Right

First, my test is showing: | Interesting Sites & Information

It is just a draft page, so it is not really a public page so maybe hotlinking to it like you are doing does not work.

I talked to someone else, and he is also stymied that both he and I had no problem getting it to work.
Only thing he could come up with is that if you are using the wordpress mu script, it may be disabled or not working.

I agree it is MU but their must be a way to turn it on. How, I do not know. But I do know other mu site have video working on them. This has to be something simple but I am searching and can not find it.

Check the thread again, she is using wordpress mu.

Bit different in some ways to a regular wordpress, as the wp mu is for building a blog where others can create blogs.

I keep forgetting to say MU because some wordpress plugins work on MU and some do not.
