Well, the color is very important in the web designing and the most important thing is that the color of your web application should be relevant your web application and it is good that if any visitor can guess your application just by looking at the design of your website...:happy-f:

I know I am old fashioned but I always like a basic white background for websites. Too many graphics and colors is hard on the eyes.

I also use colorlovers.com, its perfect on figuring out what color theme you can use.
