Need a photoshop tutorial to create 125x125 glossy banner.

Ever after so many years of being a webmaster I'm still not very good with Photoshop. I've spent the last couple of hours looking for a tutorial for creating a 125x125 banner, preferably a glossy one. I have not found one that suits my needs.

Does anyone have any links to Photoshop tutorials for creating a 125x125 banner?

Your probably better trying to find a tutorial for glossy effects rather than one specific to a banner.

Actually, how to create any kind of banner is something I've not really seen a Photoshop tutorial on...

It really depends what kind of thing your trying to achieve. "Glossy" is a term used for a wide range of effects that can be done in PS.

I skipped out on any type of glossy effect and put together something different than I originally had in mind. I went with clean and simple instead. I think I need to sit down and read more tutorials when I'm not doing it for any particular reason other than to learn.

I've found some useful ones for making 468x60 banners.

I am a banner designer but I am not going to write a tutorial for glossy banner designing because as said above you need to find tutorials for "Glossy" effects and play with that effect on 125x125 canvas.

Every banner has different requirements.

You could always buy some banners form a site like graphic river and then examine the PSD file to see how it was created. Almost like dissecting a banner file if you cant find a tutorial. IT should not be too hard to create a glossy banner its mostly gradients and overlaying graphics.
