Getting more visitors to your website has become easier now with the help of different search engines strategies. But it is more important to keep visitors stay on your site. And it can be possible if design of your website is attractive and user friendly. To make website design more attractive is very difficult. But flash has made it very much easier. Here are some reasons why you should use flash animation in your website design.

1. Now Google crawl websites with flash animation:
Sometimes ago, websites which are having flash animation in the designing, were ignored by Google to crawl them. But now Search engines have changed algorithms and they do not ignore flash animated website and them in the search results. Therefore you can get more benefit to get ranked high in search engines. So it is sensible to get website designed in flash animation technology now.

2. Produce Interactive Website to Attract Visitors:
If your website is having still images and text only, the visitors can only stare at the webpage but cannot interact with it. In this case there are more chances of exit of visitors without navigating to other pages. If flash animation is used in the website, it will get some input from the visitor and make them stay on the website for a bit long time. One can create interactive navigation in the website which will keep the visitors entertained along with making them see all your web pages.

3. Making unique and attractive site among all:
There are innumerable numbers of website online today. So it is essential to get noticed in the crowd. You may be aware of the fact that very few sites are there who have started incorporating flash animation. That’s why if you contain some flash animations in your website, your site will look lively and will be tinted in the crowd.

I personally believe flash is on the way out. It is still very popular especially with YouTube but soon HTML 5 will be the new technology everyone is going after.

HTML 5 is more efficient and probably less CPU intensive which is why I think it is the better choice. Plus, there is nothing flash can do that HTML 5 can't.

I personally won't use flash in my sites. I think that the time you need to upgrade them is just not justified. Sorry. I don't think it's worth it. It's pretty but it's just not the same as plain text.

I hope flash is now out of website design and now javascript ,jquery has got the place of flash this is my opinion flash how ever it has played major role in webdesign now it is being reduced

With the help of Flash on the website, you can attract many visitors. Yes of course you can also use scripts for animation, but some browsers are not compatible with scripts.

The main issue of Flash is it’s not search engine friendly. If you increase the font size of web page on the browsers to make the text more readable (Firefox: Ctrl +; IE 7: “View -> Text Size”. Flash banner fonts remain same.

I personally won't like to give my users a warning to install Adobe Flash Player to view my website. The websites can get attractive with flash, but its not worth it.

Adobe will fight so that flash is used in a website they won't just sit back and watched one of their top programs become obsolete. I am not disagreeing with you I think flash is outdated and if HTML5 won't do the same you still have jquery but Adobe will come out fighting against this

Google still does not read flash file easily, crawl face difficulties to read to flash, java scripts file. I think we need to avoid using flash on site because its also take too much time to load your site, which is not good for the point of seo.

If you want to have fast loading website and Google read it you need to use jQuery. But if you want to have good looking, unique website and you don't worry about SEO you can use Flash.

Probably the update is a bit old, but google has declared that the bot can now read flash contents. The google bot can read the textual contents of a flash file. This news was mentioned way back in 2008 in the google blog. But i haven't heard any updates regarding this recently.

I don't like flash and I don't use it in my websites. It uses too much CPU and for old computers this is not good. It makes my old computer shut down from heat even with a youtube video.

Flash is a very good software. but it got some limitations. you need to have flash player in the site to view the flash video.It also consumes more space.Space got more importance in web design.So, I prefer to use HTML5 rather than using Flash.

Flash is irrelevant in today's web design market. HTML5 is replacing it soon enough and is a much better architecture.
It is faster and much more efficient. jQuery proves this.

In website designing new and advanced softwares are used but flash is a better option in web designing.as it have many features which makes it better than html5.so for good results flash may be used in web designing.

I believe Google don't love Flash until now.
It makes the spiders hard to crawl your site.
At the same time, it slows down the page load.
Better to have limited but quality images and great contents.

Apple abandoned and shunned Flash - now the rest of the industry is following. Their architecture is very old and too cumbersome. HTML 5 with jQuery are the future.

Has anyone deleted Adobe Flash software off their computers yet? Adobe has given up on support for it and HTML5 is just booming now. Every site I go to that has been redesigned within the past year is now all HTML5.
