Thread: Contract out graphics design

I am admitedly not very good with dreamweaver.
I can eventually get the looks i want but my design eye isnt great.

As it stands i plan to contract out the graphics design side of my business getting the designer to create the site layout and any other graphics i need.

Alternativly i could get inspiration from other pleaces (oswd) and design my layouts based on that.

so my questions is: should i spend money on getting someone to help me or should i spend time and do it myself.

I would contract out the jobs you can't do or those that will take a bunch of your time. That way you will have more time to do the things you are good at.

I would personally do the parts you can do perfectly like designing or coding and then outsource to get the rest done. It is in many cases worth it and from your opening post, you fit the description.

As you know, nobody can do everything. You can be expert in your work but not in all work. Therefore, if you don’t want to lose the client then it would be better for you to outsource the graphics design work but don’t share the complete client information with the graphics designer.
