    Default Adobe help, watermarks

Hey all, I have yet another adobe question. I'm trying to make a header with three pictures spanning its background. But I want them faded almost like watermark type of look. Any idea how I do this to a picture in Adobe? Meaning, how do I take a picture and fade it totally to a watermark/faded presence look? (I hope that makes sense :-) )

Sorry. I don't know enough about PhotoShop to help you out, Kim. But, I suspect that you can play around with the opacity of that layer and find what you're looking for.

@WTFRocks: You should just be able to turn that layer off in PS. If not, ask the person who sold it to you to send you a copy without the watermark on it.

Go to your layer panel window if it isn't open yet press F7, click on the layer you want to change and then tinker with the opacity percentage...

    I hope that helps

the opacity is key for fading and such, sorry I didn't see this sooner...been busy and stuff :P

    was that enough Kim?

also try right clicking on the layer and selecting 'blending option' - that'll give you a lot more control over just the opacity.
