    Default Best flash editor...

I am going to get a program so I can make my own flash banners. I hate flash typically but banners I can live with it. I only have photoshop right now for graphics which obviously doesn't do flash. What do you all recommend I go with for an editor? Fireworks is the only one I've really heard of but is it any good?

I don't know about Fireworks, I've only used it on vectors and I'm not really into flash editing so I can really be of no help around here... My brother on the other hand is a flash whiz, he uses Macromedia's Flash on this computer

IF you are talking about Flash as in SWF files then there is no match for Adobe Flash (Formally Macromedia). Go for it..
