Default Changing a picture to one color

I need your help Adobe experts. For some reason my brain isn't working. I need to take a picture and change it from color to a brownish outline and I can't remember how to do it. I'm in the top two for a contest I'm in and this lovely chic came along, stole my design which was doing so well and copied it adding one more element. I refuse to let her win and I want to add this one element to my header and can't do it to save myself. Please someone tell me how to do this so I can slap this Beeyach!

I've attached the pic I want to end up with a brown outline of the building details to give you a better idea what the heck I'm talking about.

In Adobe Photoshop I would use desaturate then recolor it.

So, you go to the top, Image>Adjustments>Desaturate...

Then, Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation and play with the sliders until you get the color you want.
