Thread: NewRSS Banner (Seeking Feedback)

Well, I still haven't received any reply from Zap in a couple days so I really wanted to gain some feedback on a new banner that was created for NewRSS.

Comments and feedback are greatly appreciated.

Looks good.

You've got a style that works very well, but its the only style you use. Not much is unique in that banner.

You need to branch out, not use the same style time and time again.

It works well, and I see banners of a similar style, however quite ugly in comparison out there.

The only thing with this is that a majority of my clients who viewed my work actually said that they really liked my style shown in my banners and requested to have something similar. So it's not like I'm actually choosing to do this 100% of the time. Keep in mind, these are the only banners I've created. I haven't had too much experience working with web 2.0 so I'd rather keep progressing till I'm positive that I have mastered the concept instead of partially mastering it. Also, a very big part of this is that these banners are more than 8 months old. Some are years old from when I first started. The only 3 banners that I have created in the past 8 months was the DirectoryMix, Nixism, and NewRSS banners shown below. Please understand that I would rather master the concepts and know the material rather than change a style abruptly and produce horrific results. I'd rather transform and gradually work out of this current style into a more developed style.

I hope you understand a little more clearly from my perspective now.
