    Default png background at IE

    Hi,

I've got a problem with menu bar. It's looks okay at firefox, opera and etc.. but on IE the png image used in background is quite darker then rest, look here:

    crew.serviv.com/rollens/

On active menu tab there are two squares on the left and the right of the HOME tab. What should I do to avoid this? I think it's alpha channel or something.

    Hi,
Basically IE renders PNG differently as Firefox and Safari. It looks like PNGs appear darker in IE and that is why you see it dark in IE browsers. It would be better for you to save image in “GIF” and then use it. The other solution is some browsers do not apply PNG gamma, therefore if you are using “Gamma Correction” then remove it.

The issue can also be fixed by converting the PNG into a JPEG or GIF format that is better adapt for these browsers. Just saying.
