Im sure you all have heard of it, anyone not have it?

Aren't you supposed to have a student ID to register there?

No i believe not, you can just put a city as one of your networks such as London, Ontario for example. Its grown so big in such a short period of time!

Yeah, anyone can register.

I've heard a lot about it...but don't have one...probably won't. I have a myspace account that I log into maybe one a month (if that much)...I'll just stick with using a personal blog and be good

ya im not a big fan of myspace, login about once every 4-5 months

I think there's some guy up in the middle of Alaska that hasn't used the internet that hasn't heard of it.

Facebook is one of the few goos social networks. I just haven't made time to register yet. :scool:

I've been using facebook since they opened it up to non college students. I like it a lot better than MySpace but since they've opened it up to outside developers and applications its become more spammy.

It used to need that... a .edu email. Proved to be pointless and now takes everyone.

I think everyone who are using net must be aware about facebook but if some one is not aware then he must be new in the world of internet

Probably the same type of person who is new to internet forums. The type of person who bumps old thread. The type of person who digs them up without adding much more interest or value to that thread. The type of person who drops in different smileys and expects us not to notice.

That kind of person is probably very close to being bumped from a forum, and doesn't even know it. :brooding:

anyone can join facebook and I guess this social network site is known worldwide... honestly, I am addicted on facebook right now..

it depends on a person, if he wants to be part of the social network or not.

I have one and haven't really seen much "social networking" on it. A lot of my friends take quizzes and spam up my news feed lol. ><

I have been using facebook since 2007 and have banned byself 3-4 account before ..now i just verified and all going good.

I have an account and I'm so addicted to it most especially with the Facebook applications.. It's kinda addictive cause it's really fun and it is a stress reliever..

I have been hearing a lot about it but I haven't given it a try either.
Maybe someday when I have the opportinity.

I have it but barley use it.

Well i just registered then i never used yet.

I love Facebook! There's just so many things you can do including playing games, taking quizzes and connecting with friends and family.

I don't have an account, but have seen people use it. I prefer to stick to forums and IM.

facebook is a little boring for me, not much to do on it

facebook rocks, the best social networking site.

I joined several months ago and logged in a few times. But I ended up getting really annoyed with it.

It seems to bring out the worst in people. It's like it enables everyone to be a celebrity. So they keep sending you request that you become their fans, and use it to endlessly promote themselves. It can become a bit overwhelming. That's why I recently deactivated my profile and will probably cancel completely soon.

Control is always OK.
but facebook is a social media network. I guess this is OK just watch the children while they are happy with their friends.
