If I'm looking for backlinks I also use Yahoo! - they seem to count the number backlinks much more accurately and more quickly than Google does. If I'm doing anything else I use Google.

Google is the best, by far![]()
Like with CountryBoy, Yahoo seems to count backlinks more often than Google (and MSN for that matter), so I check my backlinks through there. Although when it comes to keywords and other stuff, I go to Google.
Google is the primary in firefox, if I can be bothered I sometimes change the mini search bar to web, other than that google has it in the bag for most I reckon!Hope this sheds some light for you!
It depends on what I'm looking for. Webmaster stuff = Google.

I use my own search engine, Snoork.
i love google bcoz its dominating the web
Google is perfered more generally,

Google all the way. For webmaster tools I use both Google Webmasters and Yahoo! Site Explorer.
too many people use google, they become like M$ in opereting systems
i think yahoo and google are the best search engine which i have ever used but sometimes i also use altavista since it is also a nice search engine.

Google is challenging for webmasters compared to yahoo and also it target more audience than yahoo.
Use either google or Timmp
A search engine is often the first method used to find a page, and yet, most users suffer frustration and failure. More still are put off by the complexity of the search engine, and the confusing manner in which the results are displayed.
A good search engine must:
* Be easy to use.
* Assist users to find the correct information.
* Display results in a meaningful way.
* Help authors to improve the site.
i thnik google is best...

I'm currently in the middle of my Bachelor degree program for Psychology, this as you may know requires a great deal of research, all of the references I use must come from credible sources i.e. peer reviewed. I have attempted using other search engines while attempting to get information for a project, like ask, bing, yahoo, msn etc....by far as for getting to the information that gives me the best results and includes those valued peer reviewed articles and books is Google, the others don't even come close to measuring up unfortunately.
I am not a fan of their politics and of their business ethics most of the time but they do a good job providing the service that they target giving, I can't knock them to much for that.
I use google for me to search for and when I'm checking my backlinks, I used Yahoo
Google is still the best search engine.
I use Yahoo to look for backlinks, too![]()
Read the following illustrated report, which explains in detail, a step by step method for measuring your search engine campaign's effectiveness and how you can perform client scorecarding through the power of metrics.
Google is still way ahead of other search engines so why use any other? Yahoo quite annoying for searching. I mean when you open it a bunch of unnecessary stuffs are there. bing is okay.
Google offers by far the best search results
google offers the best results
