Thread: How many emails in your spam folder?

I was just wondering.

I have about 2980 emails in my gmail spam folder.

How many do you have?

Zero. All gone.

Don't get that many in my hotmail. I wonder why?

None in my spam..

I clear mine out daily so I can't say, but I think it gets about 30 or so in a day, I try to watch where I use that email, but since I Signed up for a member here to vote on his kids photos I've been signed up to so many places and spammed out of my mind.

Right now I have about 200 spam. I can have everything from a fake Rolex to Breast Enlargement's.

Hmm, that's not a bad thought. Then I wouldn't need to go out the house!!

I dont have many in my main email because I have a secondary email I use when signing up for things I dont intend to plan to use in the long run..

I get around 15-20 spam emails daily, but I delete them as soon as they arrive, so they can't stay in my spam folder for more than few minutes

When I first started to use gmail, I would look thru every single one of the spam mails, just to make sure something important didnt accidentally got sent there, after about 6 months of not finding anything important in the spam folder, I decided gmail was pretty good at keeping important stuff out of the spam box, so I quit looking in there, now I just let them sit there and fall out after 30 days, works for me!

All I can tell you is, little by little, start changing your email addy at all the places you have signed up with, start with paypal, then the forums and websites you use the most, after a few days, you should have most switched over, if you forget any, and later you need the site, signup again with the new email!

I have about 500 spam e-mails in my folder. I get about 40 e-mails per day

Wow.. that's so simple.. yet so easy, LOL, never though of that.. that WOULD be easier though LOL.

I keep on top of my GMail spam. I suppose I get around 50 a day, but as I empty the folder several times each day too they never get a chance to accumulate.

in my gmail account there are 100 in spam folder, 300 in my yahoo account, and 10 in my hotmail account.....

None, I always delete them.

3000? you chump. I've got 3100 in one of my boxes, 1238 in another, and my big one that I don't even bother to look in anymore due to spam flood....24,783.

now I can't be certain all 24,000 are spam a quick check shows me the top 30 are all for software, rolex, making ladies squirt, gibberish, random words thrown together.....yeah that's why I don't go in there. just opening up the folder takes 2 minutes for it to scan all the headers

i got 3000+ reallly spammin buisness is increasing now a daz....

None I always delete them, but if I leave it a few days they'll probably be a couple hundred in there.

In a day I got 250 but I cleared it always.

One particular email address gives me about 100 to 200 spam emails a day proper nightmare it has got to the stage where i dont bother checking it anymore. Pity you cant just flick a switch and bounce them all back to the sender.

I only get around 30 a day if that. But yahoo seems to be THE account that I get around 200 a week grrrrrrrr

I have had the same Yahoo account for at least nine years so I get an average of about 400-600 a day. :2018:

My gmail has no spam e-mails at all.
If spam begins to flow to my mail box i just unsubscribe them.

I use Hotmail and don't have any right now in the spam folder. However i got 2 spam emails in the normal incoming folder ukey:.

In my gmail folder, 627 although that is much lower than average. I've had the same yahoo account since I was in college (more than seven years ago!) and I only few a few spam emails in there per day.

Googlemail and it's spam filters are pretty good, that combined with manual filters to automatically delete emails(I set them on addresses/keywords I know are spam) means I get very little good times.
