please tell me which explorer is best and also tell me the latest version of internet explorer.

the latest version of IE is 8 i think

I downloaded IE 9.1 so far it's doing fine but I didn't use it often because I love using FF

Internet Explorer 8 is still in BETA phase so I highly doubt you are using 9.1.

Firefox and Google Chrome beat IE ^.^

Vague question. :sundecided: The best version of anything is the latest, non-beta, release. Why do you want to know?

I always stick with IE. Tried Firefox and just didn't like it.

I used to be 100% firefox but then realised that developing websites in a Firefox environment is not good.

IE (all versions combined) holds a share of about 67% of Web Broswer Usage with Firefox at 21% and Safari at 8%. See here ->http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:We...sage_share.svg

Those statistics say it all really, stick with IE, if that many people use it, it must be good!

Seriously... according to Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Explorer_versions Internet Explorer versions - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - the latest version is 8.0 RC1.

Unless it's John Titor writing to us from the future! I think by his time Internet Explorer may have been up to version 10... =)

9.1? Really? My windows 7 came with IE8 beta..
Never saw, never heard about 9.1

And ohh, IE8 is way better than FF 3.x.x
FF 3.x.x is not bug free at all, in fact I'm having way too many problems specially with cookies, cache, bookmarks and saved sessions.

I never liked IE, but I hate to say, IE8 is better than my favorite FF.

I never liked IE, but I hate to say, IE8 is better than my favorite FF.

I will say that IE8 is better than any of the previous versions, but Firefox still has all of the plugins that IE8 doesn't have. It makes my life SO much easier to just have Firebug running and edit pages in real time to see what the problem is. Once IE has as many people writing plugins for it as Firefox, then I'll think about switching for good. =)

FF all the way ..sorry i dont use IE except when double checking possible compatibility issues but the latet is 8 i believe.

I like using firefox.

i think firefox is best add some cool addons and make your browser supper look..

go for firefox 3.. it is best..

FF3 for surfing, IE/opera for testing websites only

I have to disagree with your last sentence there: "...if that many people use it, it must be good", not really, that many people use it cause when they buy a computer it is there already, and most beginner computer users dont even know how to download a browser, therefore they use whats given to them!

Personally, I LOVE Google Chrome. Loads VERY fast and you gotta love the "Most visited sites" homepage.

It's faster, neater, and easier to use than FireFox.

IE, I will never return to using. Although some sites require IE to access some of their features. Download Google Chrome and give it a try, you wont be sorry!

i love FF and Opera.

IE7 most i like, of all IE

Firefox is faster than IE., that's why i like firefox more than IE

Firefox seems to be best overall. But still personal preferences matter.

i think now days the best web browser is google chrome since it is faster than any other browser and i also beats firefox in terms of speed.

There has been that many versions i am starting to lose count in all honesty.
