Will google be getting hold of twitter?

What do you guys think? With the kind of success Twitter got, will google be planning to get hold of it?

Twitter would be stupid to sell now. Look at Facebook there were offered 1 billion and turned it down. And last month I read somewhere that there at 200 million members, or the size of the pop of brazil. lol

Someones going to get Twitter, its the new "Youtube", "Facebook" etc. Im sure someone like Google or Google itself will purchase Twitter and monetize the sh!t out of it!

That won't be a surprise but I think Twitter won't sale it for now, only for a real huge amount of money.

most probably google will certainly buy it coz, from whats hot in news, they r only delaying and not yet have backed out. is microsoft sleeping on this? Google is certainly heating up the internet rivalry. thwy wil buy twitter for sure

I highly doubt Twitter will be selling to anyone anytime soon. I remember they already got an offer for a buyout and they turned it down. If Google got a hold of another massive social networking site I think Google would be too powerful IMO. They control a large part of the internet already. If they continue to grow in size so rapidly I could imagine problems to start.
