Contacting Registerfly

Does anyone know of a method that actually works? Their live support does not work, 1-800 number given to me in pay pal from a transaction comes up 'disconnected' number on their site makes you sit on hold forever. So far I've been on hold for almost 3 hours total from about 3 different times.
Email is not responded to, support tickets go unanswered.

Does this place even exist?

I've never ever had so many problems getting in contact with a registar, not impressed one bit!

What a HORRIBLE company.!
Someone I know had a domain name come up for renewal, they had no way to pay for it because of Pay Pal limitations for where they live. The amount wasn't much, they had done alot for me in the past, I don't mind helping out a friend so I logged into their account and used my own Pay Pal account to pay for the domain name renewal. I paid for it in plenty of time.

Registerfly still took the domain name away and put it into 'quarantine. This has been since roughly the 25th of December.

The owner of the domain has been trying to contact them, I have tried their live support which does not work, tried to make support tickets but it would never work, tried email and have tried over and over on phone.

Tonight FINALLY after about 1 1/2 hours of hold time someone answered. I had to yell and scream to get them to do anything! They wanted the user ID, well it's not my ID I told him that. I told him I had the domain name and the Pay Pal transaction. He kept saying he needed my ID even though I said over and over and over it was not my ID. Finally I found the users ID in my Pay Pal account. Then he asks for the exact first name and last name on the account! WTF I do not know this! I yelled and screamed!

Demanded a manager he refused. Finally some more words, silence while he was 'working to correct it'

He then gives a lame excuse saying the site/domain will work in a couple of hours. He blamed it on a server issue that happend a few hours ago. I cornered him on that, how could it be a server issue that happened a few hours ago when it's been down for WEEKS!?
His response, stumbling words and then the fuxxer hung up on me!

The WORST registar and support I have EVER had the displeasure of dealing with!

He told me the domain would be up, if better be!!!!!

I am so pixxed off right now, how dare they do this shit to this person!!!

BTW unknown person I tried my best, I hope it will be enough. They are simply horrid!

I've never dealt with them because they didn't support Paypal when I was about to use them!And I heard tons of negative feedbacks about them afterwards!

I hope the domain will be working soon!

They are dangerous!
I'd recommend you transfer all your domains to another registrar ASAP!

There are countless people around the net who have lost their domains for no good reason just like what happened to me and the person I know. The domain was paid on time yet the domain was lost, their customer service email gets returned, they do not answer any support tickets, phone calls take over an hour to even get an answer and even them you get lied to and hung up on. Do you really need more reasons?

There needs to be legal action taken against registerfly. If anyone is interested, I would like to raise more awareness against them and possibly take legal actions!

My pleasure. I just hope that this message about registerfly will go out there and people will see how they didn´t even try to save their customers´domain names. Sorry to be so negative, but I have never seen shit like this in my whole entire life.

No problem on being negative. I still can't believe the hassle, all I went through and still the domain is gone!

Hours and hours on the phone just to be lied to and hung up on. Plus they still have my $$$

Same here, and I am glad to see sites devoted to their BS. I won't even buy domains I really want from people, if they're at RegisterFly, because I know in the transfer process something bad WILL happen.

The worst thing you can do is give bad customer service. People will forgive anything, but one thing that there is no excuse for is their carelessness.

There's some good threads about it at namepros too, probably everywhere, I love how they constantly close people's tickets and don't deal with anything. So many are losing domains cause of them.

I contacted the person you referred me to MD, she did contact back. Unfortunately they do not deal with the extension this domain was

I did ask and they don't even know who to contact.

This is the official registrar for the extension: http://www.eurodns.com/

I had all my domains there that had that extension, maybe they are the ones who can help.
